Girl, we are so glad you're here!

Who are we? And what is 'Girl Power' anyway?

Who We Are

We are a committee of dedicated women serving our community on behalf of The Junior League of Tyler; an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women and improving communities through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Its purpose is exclusively educational and charitable.

What is Girl Power?

This free, single day event will provide an opportunity for young women in the Tyler community to have fun while vision casting and developing new healthy habits with community leaders and Junior League volunteers. And, by the way, this event is FREE! Participants will receive a T-shirt, lunch, goodie bag, and more!

The mission of Girl Power Summit is to empower 6th grade girls in the Tyler community and remind them they are strong and they are 'enough.' During this summit, we will equip them with the tools necessary to become successful, civically engaged women.

The program will highlight four pillars of success:

  • Self-worth
  • Self-care (mental health)

  • Civic engagement

  • Vision casting
